FEU graduate tops medical board

Far Eastern University topped the list of the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine this month of February.

A total of 621 out of 1,344 examinees passed the examination which was announced Thursday by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Marie Jo-Ann Beltran Cabanting of FEU – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation ranked first with 85.42 percent.  The 27 year old new female doctor claimed she was never a dean’s lister but she loves to read and she prays a lot.

Three students followed her from Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela, namely: Arlyn Dizon Salut (85.08%), Reginald Ricasa Cordial (84.92%), and Rod Mark Memoracion Clavel (84.67%).

The other half of the Top ten list includes:

5. Bianca  Katrina Escaro Villanueva,UERM - 84.25%
6. Charlene Rose Khe Haw, UST - 84.17%
7. Jan Edward Espino Sayco, Fatima University Valenzuela - 84.08%
8. Michael Ramos Arrosas, West Visayas State University- 84.00%
9. Noreen Antoinette Garcia Opina, Ateneo Zamboanga- 83.92%
10. Suzette Bungay Sagun, UP Manila - 83.83%
